Steven Frieson led a team selected to develop a master plan for the Pacific Electric Inland Empire Trail, a 27-mile “rails to trails” project that makes use of the former Pacific Electric Railway and joins six cities in the Inland Empire region of Southern California. The trail provides recreational opportunities for cyclists, pedestrians, runners, and equestrians. Along with overseeing the development of the master plan, Mr. Frieson managed the design of nine miles of the Pacific Electric Inland Empire Trail and provided additional expertise with regard to public participation and funding recommendations.
